That’s my official blurb, but it pretty much sums it up.
I’ve had a camera in hand since early in high school. It’s been a constant in my life, and a perfect personal creative outlet. I spent a fair number of years in the high tech corporate environment, and really enjoyed it. But I always had a creative passion for photography.
When computers, photography, and video all merged and went digital, I knew it was time. A perfect blend of my technical and photography skills, business skills learned in the corporate world, and a strong desire run my own business . It was then or never. I had extensive business experience, available start up cash, motivation, and a strong desire. That was over 10 years ago, and I haven’t looked back.
I truly enjoy going to work, and every day is a new challenge and experience. I’ve worked for Fortune 500 companies and local small businesses, shot hanging out of helicopters and in the comfy confines of my studio, had work published internationally while some will never be seen by anyone but a small group, I’ve worked with celebrities in penthouse suites to workers underground in Boston’s Big Dig, with large crews and productions to projects where I’m on my own for days. Every one I have thoroughly enjoyed, and they have all added a richness to my life I truly cherish.
